Conservation

Conservation means taking care of our natural world and using resources more efficiently, reducing waste and minimizing negative impacts on the environment.  All living things need clean air and water, safe habitat, and protection from over hunting or farming (capture).

How can you help?  There are many ways to contribute to conservation in and around our own homes, schools, parks, and across the planet.  Here are a few to get you started.

Reuse, Reduce, Recycle

Respect all living creatures in their habitats.

Learn more and teach others about the natural world.

Do not take animals from the wild or release pets into the wild.

Do not harm animals in their native habitat.

Think adoption first. You would be amazed at the variety of animals needing new homes.

Use reusable grocery bags.
